RecorderClass Scanlations turned 1 year old a while ago! And we finished (translating) 3 whole volumes, I'm really proud heheee
I don't really mind being tied with Jaguar for 5 more years but a lot can happen in that time so getting another translator would be great!

DeleteYeah Takana sure is one of the best female characters ever! I love all of Usuta's girls in general, they have strong, believable personalities, and they're on a COMPLETELY different level than most other female manga characters. He puts so many little details in the way they act or even how he draws them!!
There's a new girl in vol.8 (a normal girl Piyohiko falls in love with) and somehow comparing her to Takana makes you realize even more what a great character she is.
Usuta is a real genius and no one sees it aaaaahhhh

I reeeally like how they are characterized because they are believable and relatable, and also not strangely proportioned or anything(I was almost suspicious in the beginning usuta could have been a female mangaka, but then, even female mangakas write in odd females). I enjoy all of Takana's frustrations and her awkward dealing with the other silly main characters, there is such a divide in communication lol! Oh you are baiting me, I can't WAIT to see who piyohiko actually falls in love with. (Ah Takana is so great, I hope she gets some more development too.)
